Our social media experts are prepared to help your business streamline customer interactions and gain leads in the new year.
On Wednesday, January 6th, Facebook announced its plans to revamp the pages of businesses and public figures to make it easier for them to reach their intended community. The new, cleaner layout will make it simpler for followers to see the business’s bio and important information. Each business will now have a dedicated News Feed, where comments from public figures will be pinned to the top.
Companies will also be able to clearly define page admin duties in ways they never could before. The News Feed will suggest new connections for page admins based on trending content, public figures and community groups where the business would fit. The “Like” button will be removed and replaced by a “Followers” button, which accurately tracks the page’s most loyal viewers.
Connections targeting is the most effective way for your business to gain valuable leads who will become loyal customers. While you’ve (hopefully) always been seeking out new connections and doing research to find out what customers are searching for, the features of your dedicated News Feed will now conveniently show you what’s trending in your industry. Instead of needing to utilize a separate analytics page, you’ll be able to view everything you need to in one window and save yourself time.
Our social media marketing team looks forward to helping you promote your business with Facebook’s newest layout. These changes are expected to take place in the next few months, so make sure you’re ready!
